City by the Sea: A WIP, but also one of my favorite fics of all time ever. It gives me so many chest-tingling feels. It’s also very creative and innocent little virgin!Charles slays me. And there’s some sickfic thrown in. What’s not to love?
Everyday Love in Stockholm: I just have this inherent fascination with Stockholm Syndrome. Erik keeps Charles locked in a room in his palace (but only because he has to…the reasoning is well justified). Angsty with lots of love and an interesting political backdrop.
Fools Rush In: Typical coffee shop AU. And it’s wonderful. Erik is ornery and Charles is funny. The smut is deliciously written. Highly rec.
Time to Grow: Slight AU in which Erik and Charles continue to meet after the incident on the beach (Charles is not paraplegic). Feels really canon. Ah, man, this fandom has such good fics (though lots of mpreg…which I don’t favor…I mean, really, so much mpreg…wonder why…).
Paper Monsters: A nice tale of mistaken identity in which Erik is secretly Charles’ favorite author and they form a relationship. I was a smidge bit let down by the climax, but not enough to think the fic itself came up short. A great read.
Of kittens and tea cups and love: Fluffy fluff Mcfluffity fluff. Cats are wonderful creatures. Some pining. A lovely moment of confession.
Growing Pains: Student!Charles and Teacher!Erik in one of those great Alpha/Beta/Omega fics that have an excellent plot with a sweet center. A must read, but also a WIP and dear God, I wish it would update.
Let Hope Burn in your Eyes: Erik is a fugitive and he takes teen!Charles captive as ransom. I don’t know why I love captive!Charles so much or why he’s so cute. I’m not sure what this says about me. I will say that this is a WIP that might never be updated, which hurts me on so many levels. Worth reading though. Definitely.
A Taste: Slightly dubcon with an arrogant, wealthy Charles and waiter!Erik. Bathroom sex. Manipulation. Tony Stark hanging out in the background. Yes.
A Practice in Futility: Only one chapter of a long-time WIP but it’s a long chapter and I wasn’t left wanting. I do so adore soul bonding fics, especially when a light touch of Alpha/Beta/Omega is involved.

How to Build a Heart Out of Ashes: Current fave. Sherlock and John are teenage Changelings (humans who can turn into specific animals) at an institute. Slow burn. Great sexual tension. Very IC.
Pull the Stars from the Sky: Sherlock is a famous musician, John is his new tour manager. Sexy Sherlock. BAMF John. Great AU.
Long Ago and Far Away: WWII AU. Sad, beautiful, fascinating (because of the time period). They get into it pretty quickly but the development of their relationship and how they face hardships is delicate and heart-wrenching.
Given in Evidence: Post-Reichenbach reunion (best that I’ve read). You’ve probably seen this rec’d before, but rightfully so. No one writes make-out scenes like verityburns :)
Inscriptions: Everyone has the name of their soul mate inscribed on their ring finger. John and Sherlock find each other. Love the concept. Can be a bit aimless at times but is definitely worth it.
Dehumanize Me: Prison porn! And it’s glorious. Also has a great storyline because it’s deuxexmycroft, the master of porn with plot. Lil non-con at the beginning though, so watch out.
School for Scandal: My favorite teen!AU even if the drama stresses the hell out of me sometimes. This is one of those WIPs that properly tortures you, so good luck with it. Of course, it’s worth every second, so read away.
